Here we would like to draw your attention to IP21 transaction code in SAP. As we know it is being used in the SAP PM-PRM (Preventive Maintenance in PM) component which is coming under PM module (Plant Maintenance).IP21 is a transaction code used for Maintenance item number assignment in SAP.
It comes under the package IPRM.When we execute this transaction code, SAPMSNUM is the normal standard SAP program that is being executed in background.
