Here we would like to draw your attention to ELM transaction code in SAP. As we know it is being used in the SAP BW-BCT (Business Content and Extractors in BW) component which is coming under BW module (Business Warehouse). ELM is a transaction code used for External List Management in SAP.
It comes under the package for Business Content External List Management (RS_BCT_ELM). When we execute this transaction code, ELM_UI is the normal standard SAP program that is being executed in background. Transaction code ELM is included in the SAP component for BI_CONT.
